A note from Patrick Dooley:

Last January we had the thrill of staging Tom Stoppard’s masterpiece The Coast of Utopia for an intimate and enthusiastic audience.  Almost immediately we were asked, “What are you doing next January?”  I couldn’t imagine what might be able to top that transcendent trilogy about love, poetry, and revolution in Russia.

And then I remembered Tantalus

In 2000, the Denver Center had the audacity to produce John Barton’s epic journey (20 years in the writing) about the curse of the House of Atreus.  The play, while lauded with awards and accolades, has not been produced since.

Now really.  How could we resist?

You may remember that Tantalus was cursed by the Gods for sharing wisdom with humans by not being allowed to quench his hunger from above or his thirst from below.  Act now and avoid suffering the same fate!  We will only be selling 75 tickets.

Tickets are $150 – and YES, in addition to the three staged readings, we will be sending you extensive, fun-to-read dramaturgical packets in advance.  Champagne, savories and sweets will be served each night.
